Harry has worked in a wide variety of general and other practices for over 20 years. He is actively involved in the whole general practitioner exam process. He has been on a number of Boards involved in delivering and improving general practice.
Harry is interested in a number of areas general practice, these include skin cancers (diagnosis and removal), insertion of contraceptive devices such as Implanon and Mirena. He has broad experience in the full range of general practice medicine.
He also works at the Neutral Bay Medical Practice.
Meredith has over twenty years experience in all aspects of general practice with particular interest in women’s health, paediatrics, psychological issues and travel advice.
Dr Vasantha Sabapathy has been a permanent full time GP at the CBD Medical Practice since 2007. She is interested in all aspects of general practice, with a particular focus on mental health, preventive health measures, chronic disease management, women’s health and paediatrics. She provides continuity of care, and has a holistic approach to managing her patients. Dr Sabapathy is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She is also a registered GP in the United Kingdom. She graduated from Sydney University and trained at Nepean Hospital. Following she has been in general practice in Australia and the UK. She has a diploma in paediatrics and has additional qualifications in mental health, sexual and reproductive health. She is accredited to undertake GP shared care.
In her spare time she enjoys scuba diving, the arts and travelling.
She is currently an examiner for the Royal Australian College of General Practice, and is interested in medical education.
Bernadette is a graduate of the University of New South Wales and is a fellow of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She has over 15 years’ experience as a medical practitioner.
Bernadette is passionate about women’s health particularly in preconception and fertility assessment, insertion of contraceptive devices – implanon, mirena and copper IUD and is accredited for antenatal shared care with RHW, RPAH, RNSH and St George Hospital. She has also completed a Diploma in Child Health with Westmead Children's Hospital and enjoys looking after children. Bernadette is trained to assess varicose veins and can treat spider veins. She can also give acupuncture, do skin checks and is developing an interest in genomics in primary care.
Lynette is a general practitioner who has a special interest in women’s health, mental health, health assessments, lifestyle advice and holistic health.
Prior to becoming a GP, Dayna worked in a number of areas of medicine including: adult and paediatric acute care, obstetrics/gynaecology and psychiatry (adult and child/adolescent).
Dayna has special interests in women’s health, sexual health, antenatal/obstetrics care, paediatrics and mental health. She has a Diploma of Obstetrics/Gynaecology and is accredited for shared care at RNSH, RPA and St George/Sutherland Hospital. Dayna also has a Diploma in Child Health. She can insert and remove Implanon (contraceptive implant) and Mirena (intrauterine device).
When Dayna is not at work she enjoys spending time with her family, doing yoga and running.
Rachelle thoroughly enjoys the continuity of care that general practice offers. She values the unique position of General Practitioner to not only treat illness but also treat the whole person and keep people healthy for longer. Rachelle graduated with Honours from University of New South Wales and then received significant training in adult medicine and paediatrics both in Australia and the UK. She holds a Diploma of Paediatrics from Sydney Children's Hospital and a Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health from Family Planning NSW.
Rachelle has special interest in sexual health, women and men's health, paediatrics, mental health and preventative medicine.
In 2017, Rachelle swam solo across the English Channel, fundraising for Perinatal Anxiety and Depression Australia (PANDA). She has 3 young children and enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle.
Dr Janet Widmer is a General Practitioner, Medical Acupuncturist and Medical Teacher. Dr Widmer is a graduate of the University of Sydney, and has trained and worked both in Australia and the United Kingdom. Dr Widmer holds post graduate qualifications in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and a Masters Degree in Medical Acupuncture. Janet is a Diplomate of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and of the Australian Medical Acupuncture College.
Janet carries many years experience in clinical practice, her particular areas of interest being women's health, paediatrics, acupuncture, travel medicine and complementary medicine. Janet also has a strong interest in preventative care and chronic disease management, offering care from an holistic perspective. She offers counselling and care in psychological medicine. Janet is accredited for antenatal shared care with RPAH, RNSH and Canterbury Hospital.
Janet enjoys music, travelling and spending time with her 3 adult children and 3 grandchildren.
